Consideration and HAPPY video!

We have just finished our music video. This year our school value is Consideration. We decided to make a music video of us showing how we are considerate. Then we had some fun at the end with our cover of Pharrell Williams song - Happy :)

X-Country Counties!!

We had 8 students represent Hampstead today at the Cross Country Athletics!! Here they are excited and ready to go!!


BE BRIGHT DAY!!!

On Monday we had BE BRIGHT day. It was to support Road Safety around Ashburton. We also wore pink to support Anti-bullying too. Check out some of our awesome outfits!!! Tasha and Kaleb won the BEST DRESSED prizes!

For the special Anzac assembly today we made a wreath. We traced our hands and made poppies to go on top.

Anzac Biscuits! YUM!

Did you know that back during the war people had to send Anzac biscuits over to the soldiers?! They made Anzac biscuits because they would last for a really long time without going off. (Months!!) They would send them by ship in little packages. We made some with Miss Dobbin today in the hall but we put chocolate on ours!!

Our history lessons

We have been learning about the ANZACS, where they landed in Gallipoli, what life was like in the trenches and how young some of the soldiers were. Some of them were only 16!!! Here we are reading the Anzac newspaper and finding Galiipoli on the map.
